Mission

Rue Babel offers French and Spanish classes for children and adults. French cooking camps are available during summertime. Rue Babel believes that learning a language is for everyone. Lesson plans are designed to make language learning fun, easy, and interactive.

Rue Babel incorporates creativity, enthusiasm, and art into each language learning experience. We believe that learning through art while having fun is the key. The curriculum is inspired by different teaching methods, worldwide philosophies, and a variety of published sources.

About the founder

The founder of Rue Babel is a teacher and a native French speaker, who is currently raising two children bilingual. She has twenty-five years of experience teaching Spanish and French at the college level, with the last nine years dedicated to working with younger children from ages 2 to 14.  She holds a B.A. in French and an M.A. in French/Spanish Literature and Linguistics. She will soon also be a certified K-12 teacher in the State of Texas. She is a kid at heart and a lover of languages and cooking!
